Referral Programme
Refer and Earn
Introduce a business. Earn 15% of our fee, every month, for as long as their hires stay.
Refer a company to Veridian Global. When they employ someone through our EOR service, we pay you 15% of the monthly EOR fee for that employee. Every month. For as long as that employee is with them. On every employee they hire through us.
It takes two minutes Paid monthly, for as long as they stay
Overview
- You earn 15% of the monthly EOR fee on every employee a referred company employs through Veridian Global
- Paid every month, for as long as each employee stays with that company through us
- No cap on the number of companies, hires or months
- Open to anyone with a real introduction to make
- The referred company pays standard pricing. Your share comes out of our fee, not on top of it.
The reward in one line
Your reward = 15% of the monthly EOR fee, on every employee, for as long as they stay.
The monthly EOR fee is what we charge a client for employing someone through us. It is a percentage of that employee's salary, set out on our pricing page. Your reward is 15% of that fee. It is not a percentage of the salary, and it is not a percentage of the full invoice.
What that looks like in practice
Take an employee on £2,000 a month. At our entry rate of 10%, the monthly EOR fee is £200. Your share is £30 a month.
| Each month | Each year | |
|---|---|---|
| One employee on £2,000 a month | £30 | £360 |
| Four employees at the same level | £120 | £1,440 |
Those figures continue every month the employees stay. A single hire who stays three years is worth around £1,080 to you. A company that grows to ten people with us is worth a good deal more, and you made the introduction once.
If the company's fee rate changes, for instance because they grow past the threshold for a lower rate, your share stays at 15% of whatever fee we actually invoice.
How it works
1. Register the referral. Use the form on this page, or email us the contact's name, company and email address with a line on what they are looking to hire. If it is easier, ask them to mention your name when they contact us.
2. We take it from there. Nothing to sell. We speak to them, explain how the EOR model works, give them a cost estimate and keep you posted.
3. They hire. The company signs with Veridian Global and employs someone through our EOR in South Africa. Your reward starts with their first monthly invoice.
4. You are paid every month. Once the client has paid each monthly invoice, we pay you 15% of the EOR fee on it. That carries on for as long as their employees are with us, and every new hire they make is added automatically.
When and how you are paid
- First payment: after the client pays their first monthly invoice, usually within six weeks of the employee's start date
- After that: every month, once that month's invoice is paid
- It stops: when the employee leaves. If the company replaces them through us, the reward continues on the replacement.
- By bank transfer, in pounds sterling or the Rand equivalent if you are based in South Africa. Existing clients can take it as a credit on their own invoice instead.
- With a statement each month showing the employees, the fee and your share
Who can refer
Anyone with a real introduction to make:
- Existing clients who have been through the process and know what to expect
- Employees on our books who know a UK company looking for people like them
- Accountants, bookkeepers, fractional finance and HR leads whose clients are weighing up their next hire
- Recruiters and consultants who get asked about offshore hiring and would rather hand it to a specialist
- Founders and business owners in peer groups and networks
Employees and directors of Veridian Global, and their immediate family, are not eligible.
Who makes a good referral
UK companies that:
- Are hiring for roles that work well remotely: sales, marketing, customer support, finance, software, admin
- Already use South African contractors and are uneasy about misclassification
- Have priced up a global platform like Deel or Remote.com and found it heavy for South Africa alone
- Are feeling rising UK employer costs on every new hire
If a business you know fits two or more of these, it is worth an introduction.
The small print, kept short
- Register the referral before the company first contacts us, or make sure they name you when they do. Referrals registered after first contact are not eligible.
- The company must be new to Veridian Global: no existing agreement, and no active conversation with us in the six months before you registered the referral.
- One referrer per company. If more than one person refers the same business, we pay the first valid registration.
- Your share is calculated on fees we have actually collected. If a client pays late, your payment moves with it. If a client does not pay an invoice, there is no share on that invoice.
- By registering a referral you confirm the contact knows you are passing on their details and is happy to hear from us. We use their details only to follow up on the referral, in line with our Privacy Policy.
- If you work for, or advise, the business you are referring, tell them about the reward before you register it. We will not pay a reward that has not been disclosed to the referred company. This follows our Code of Ethics.
- Rewards are paid gross. Any tax due on them is your responsibility. If you are VAT registered, use the monthly statement to invoice us and we will pay against your invoice.
- We may change or close the programme for new referrals at any time. Referrals already registered continue on the terms they were registered under, for the life of their placements.
Not sure how to introduce us?
Something like this works well in an email or a LinkedIn message:
"I know a company called Veridian Global that helps UK businesses employ people in South Africa without setting up an entity there. They handle contracts, payroll and compliance, and you get one monthly invoice. Happy to introduce you if that would be useful?"
If they say yes, register the referral and we will pick it up from there.

FAQs
15% of the monthly EOR fee on every employee the referred company employs through Veridian Global, paid every month for as long as each employee stays. There is no cap on companies, hires or months.
The fee we charge a client for employing someone through us. It is a percentage of that employee's salary, shown on our pricing page. Your reward is 15% of that fee. It is not 15% of the salary, and not 15% of the total invoice, which also includes the salary and statutory costs.
An employee on £2,000 a month at our 10% rate carries a monthly EOR fee of £200. Your share is £30 a month, or £360 a year, for as long as that employee is with the company through us. Four employees at that level would be £120 a month. You can estimate fees for other salaries with our EOR Cost Calculator.
For the life of the placement. If the employee is with the company through Veridian Global for five years, you are paid every month for five years. Payments for that employee stop when they leave.
Every employee. Each new hire the company makes through us is added to your reward automatically, whenever it happens.
After the client pays their first monthly invoice. Allowing for our invoice cycle and payment terms, that is usually within six weeks of the employee's start date.
By bank transfer each month, in pounds sterling or the Rand equivalent if you are in South Africa, with a short statement showing how it was calculated. It is paid gross, so any tax due is your responsibility. Existing clients can take it as a credit against their own invoice instead.
No. They pay our standard pricing. Your share comes out of our fee, not on top of it.
Your share follows the fee. If a client moves onto a lower rate because they have grown, you receive 15% of the new fee. It is always 15% of what we actually invoice and collect.
Payments for that employee stop from their last paid invoice. If the company replaces them through Veridian Global, the reward continues on the replacement, and any other employees they have with us are unaffected.
Use the form on this page, or email the contact's name, company and email address to refer@veridianglobal.co.uk with a line on what they are looking to hire. If you would rather not share their details up front, ask them to mention your name when they first contact us.
Yes. Only pass on details of someone who knows you are doing so and is happy to hear from us. It keeps the introduction warm, and it keeps everyone on the right side of UK GDPR and POPIA.
If we have been in active conversation with the company in the six months before you register the referral, or they are already a client, the referral will not qualify. We will tell you if that is the case so there are no surprises later.
We pay the first valid registration. Registering early is the best way to make sure it is you.
You can, provided you tell them about the reward before you register the referral. Many organisations have rules about employees and advisers accepting payments from suppliers, and we will not pay a reward that has been kept from the referred company. If a payment to you would not be appropriate, we can apply your share as a credit on the referred company's account instead.
Our focus is UK companies hiring in South Africa, but if you know a business elsewhere that wants to employ people in South Africa, register them anyway. We will let you know quickly whether we can help.
